CBC SEEKS ‘CRISIS WARRIORS’ IN FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

August 11, 2020

DAYTON, Ohio - Community Blood Center is looking for donors to be "Crisis Warriors" in the fight against COVID-19. If you have recovered from COVID-19, your plasma could help critically ill patients survive. Learn more about COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma (CCP) and register to donate at www.GivingBlood.org or call (937) 461-3220.

CBC challenges you to be a "Warrior" in the fight against COVID-19 by donating CCP.  You will receive the special edition "COVID-19 Crisis Warrior" t-shirt as a thank you gift for helping save lives during this time of great need.

CBC and its donors are on the front line of critical care in the COVID-19 pandemic. CBC is collecting COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma (CCP) from people who have recovered from COVID-19 infection. This special plasma goes directly to area hospitals and outside our region for the immediate treatment of COVID-19 patients.

CBC was the first blood center in Ohio to launch a CCP collection program early in the pandemic and the need for this lifesaving therapy is greater than ever.

If you tested positive for COVID-19 and have completely recovered, or if you have tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies, your antibody-rich plasma is vital for the treatment and recovery of COVID-19 patients.
